Cooking Methods
Prep: Bring to room temp and pat dry before seasoning
Classic Roast: Sear on hot pan with a little oil till a brown crust forms all around. Roast at 200°C for 20 mins. Lower to 160°C for 15- 20mins per 450g. Rest for 30mins before carving.
Pot Roast: Sear then cook covered in a casserole dish with wine/stock and vegetables at 150°C for 2.5 hours.
For the next meal
Refrigerate for 3-4 days or freeze for 2-6 months.
Quick Stroganoff
Add to sautéed mushrooms and cream before tossing in cooked pasta and fresh parsley.
Beef Tortillas
Shred or slice leftover beef and reheat with cumin or paprika. Paid with melty cheese in a toasted tortilla.
