Discover Ireland’s
Wild Pantry

Wander the hedgerows, forests, and hidden corners of Fiorbhia Farm with Brendan as your guide, and learn how to identify, harvest, and enjoy Ireland’s edible wild plants. From wild garlic and nettle to meadowsweet and cleavers, every step is a chance to reconnect with nature and the food growing all around us.

We farm in harmony with nature, so our wild areas are full of life — clean, untouched, and thriving. This is foraging where it belongs: in regenerative landscapes that support both biodiversity and human connection.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the Foraging Walk last?

The walk typically takes between 1.5 and 2 hours, depending on the group and what’s in season. We move at a relaxed pace, with time for questions, tastings, and discussion along the way. It’s not a hike — it’s about slowing down and noticing the details.

Do I need any prior experience with Foraging?

Not at all. This experience is designed for complete beginners as well as anyone curious about reconnecting with wild food. Brendan will guide you step by step, helping you identify plants safely and responsibly, while sharing practical tips you can take home.

Is this suitable for children?

Yes — children are welcome and often love the hands-on nature of the experience. That said, the walk is best suited to children aged 6+ who can engage with the activity. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and we recommend one adult per two children for safety.

What should I bring with me?

We recommend sturdy, waterproof footwear and weather-appropriate clothing — we’ll be outdoors rain or shine. You might also want to bring a small notebook if you’d like to jot down plant names or tips. We’ll provide any equipment or tasting items you need on the day.

Can I pick and take home what I find?

This is a guided experience focused on learning, not harvesting. You’ll get to taste a few seasonal plants during the walk, but we ask guests not to pick independently. This helps protect local ecosystems and ensures everything is done safely and sustainably.

Is the walk wheelchair accessible?

Due to the uneven terrain and natural landscape, this walk isn’t currently suitable for wheelchair users. However, we’re actively exploring future accessible routes — feel free to get in touch to discuss any specific needs before booking.

Will food or refreshments be provided?

You’ll have the chance to sample a few wild ingredients during the walk, but this is not a full tasting event. We recommend bringing your own water or light refreshments if needed. If you’re booking as part of a group or retreat, custom catering options may be available on request.

What Our
Customers Say

The quality of the produce is very good. Especially since purchasing my eggs and chicken from the farm I realized the average to poor quality of produce I would have gotten before, though also free range. On time delivery and updates as to when exactly he would deliver. Very happy I found them. They were recommended to me by a nutritionist

I ordered the Wagyu steaks as I'd a friend coming to stay and wanted a special treat, and boy they did not disappoint! Even raw, you could feel how tender the meat is, and such a deep colour! I cook to a medium rare, it was so juicy and a flavour unlike any I've had before, just divine!

The quality of the pasture raised eggs, that Fior Bhia farm provide is incredible. High in vital nutrients and the taste is so rich. Chickens obviously has been raised on their natural intended diet , this is evident in super rich yolk color.

Got to check out the farmers market and the launch of the Fire pit last week. Satisfying for the mind body & spirit. As soon as you come down the lane you're on forest time.
Heartening to see food sustainably produced in Ireland, free from gluten, artificial fertilisers, sprays and preservatives. Packed full of flavour and satisfaction, plus it's the ultimate traceability when you're buying direct from the farmer!
