Breathe Deep, Slow Down, Reconnect

Forest Bathing is a guided, calming experience rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku — the art of immersing yourself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest to restore balance and wellbeing.

You’ll move slowly through our forested pastures, pausing often to reconnect with your senses and surroundings. This isn’t a hike — it’s a chance to quiet your mind, feel grounded, and experience nature at a deeper, more meaningful pace.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is Forest Bathing?

Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-yoku, is the practice of slowing down and mindfully connecting with nature. It reduces stress, boosts wellbeing, and offers a powerful antidote to busy, screen-filled lives.

Do I need any experience with meditation or mindfulness?

Not at all. The walk is fully guided and open to everyone — no previous experience needed. You’ll be gently invited to engage with your senses and surroundings at your own pace.

Can I bring my children?

This experience is best suited to adults and older teens (16+), as it requires quiet, focused attention. Families with younger children may prefer one of our other nature-based experiences.

What should I bring with me?

Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. A warm layer and waterproof jacket are recommended. You might also bring a small sit pad or towel if you’d like to rest on the ground during reflection pauses.

Is it accessible?

The forest terrain is uneven and includes natural surfaces such as grass, roots, and slopes. Unfortunately, this experience is not currently suitable for wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility.

What happens if it rains?

Unless conditions are unsafe, forest bathing continues in light rain — in fact, it can make the experience even more grounding. In the event of heavy storms, we’ll offer rescheduling or credit.

Will I need to talk during the session?

Minimal talking is encouraged. There are optional moments for sharing, but the emphasis is on quiet reflection and presence.

What Our
Customers Say

The quality of the produce is very good. Especially since purchasing my eggs and chicken from the farm I realized the average to poor quality of produce I would have gotten before, though also free range. On time delivery and updates as to when exactly he would deliver. Very happy I found them. They were recommended to me by a nutritionist

I ordered the Wagyu steaks as I'd a friend coming to stay and wanted a special treat, and boy they did not disappoint! Even raw, you could feel how tender the meat is, and such a deep colour! I cook to a medium rare, it was so juicy and a flavour unlike any I've had before, just divine!

The quality of the pasture raised eggs, that Fior Bhia farm provide is incredible. High in vital nutrients and the taste is so rich. Chickens obviously has been raised on their natural intended diet , this is evident in super rich yolk color.

Got to check out the farmers market and the launch of the Fire pit last week. Satisfying for the mind body & spirit. As soon as you come down the lane you're on forest time.
Heartening to see food sustainably produced in Ireland, free from gluten, artificial fertilisers, sprays and preservatives. Packed full of flavour and satisfaction, plus it's the ultimate traceability when you're buying direct from the farmer!
