Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book the Farm Walk Trails?
Yes — while the trails are self-guided, we ask that all guests book in advance so we can manage numbers and protect the land.
How long do the walks take?
There are a few different loops available, ranging from 1 hour to 2 hours depending on your pace and curiosity.
Are these suitable for children?
Absolutely. Families are welcome — it’s a great way for kids to connect with nature, see animals, and learn about farming with the land.
Are the trails accessible?
Some routes are suitable for buggies and sturdy wheelchairs, though terrain can be uneven or soft in places. Please contact us in advance and we’ll advise on the best route for your needs.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, we don’t allow dogs on the farm walk trails, to protect wildlife and our free-roaming animals.
Will I see animals on the walk?
Yes, many of our animals are out on pasture during the day, and you’ll pass by a number of grazing areas.
Are there toilets or facilities on the route?
Toilets are available at the main farm area before or after your walk. There are benches and shaded areas on the trails but no covered shelter en route.
