Damiano was one of these farmers. He runs a large olive Grove, vineyard and exclusive white truffle farm in the heart of Tuscany.
His Dad and grandfather was still involved in the farm so it was a true intergenerational family farm.
This is your opportunity to visit Damianos farm along with several more who are on their journey towards farming with nature free from chemicals.
Eat traditional tuscan foods cooked on the farms and learn about the most famous Italian cured meats Prosciutto di Parma, Prosciutto Toscano, Mortadella, Pancetta, and Soppressata to name a few.
The jewel in the crown of the carnivorous Florentine menu is without doubt the Florentine beefsteak. This T-bone steak traditionally comes from the prized, white Tuscan Chianina cattle which has a particular tenderness and depth of flavour.
We will be visiting several farms over the five days of which several are working with me on their regenerative farming journey.
We will dig deep to understand what regenerative farming is and why it has no borders and how it applies to all farming enterprises.
