         The RDS Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development Awards celebrate the work of individuals, farm families and organisations who are enhancing the economic, environmental and social development of Irish agriculture and rural communities.

           I am humbled to win our first National award for sustainable farming. To be honest most awards don't bother me. It's not why we do what we do but the RDS sustainable farming awards are different. Its like a reference from your idol. It is the Michelin star of farming.

Everyone knows the deep agricultural history of the RDS. It is instantly recognised as an institution of integrity and independents. Thanks again.

       The RDS Spring Awards are a rare occasion in which farmers across all sectors come together to celebrate all they have achieved. With an overall prize fund of €29,000, the RDS Spring Awards celebrate and promote the principles of climate-smart agriculture. A thriving rural Ireland is as central to the RDS mission today as when the Society was first founded.

Now in their seventh year, the awards continue to grow and evolve to capture the diversity of the agriculture sector in Ireland.
